Former New York radio personality turned singles event host Dave "DC" Cervini takes the stage Thursday, January 11th at the 420 Lounge on Manhattan\'s Upper West Side to share the sexy, scary, naughty, sad, funny and many times heartwarming experiences he has had planning events for single people in New York City over the last 10 years.
From people having sex in bathrooms just after meeting at speed dating events to embarrassing drunken moments, to friendships and marriages, Dave will expose the secret stories and moments that many people never get to see and he\'ll share hilarious real e-mails that will make you realize why some people will be single forever! Dave will also share some of his own hilarious experiences as a once celebrity "player" turned "lost" New York City single who would walk his cat in Central Park to meet women - most who turned out to be 80 years old.
After accidentally helping to form a Catholic singles group on the Upper West Side in 1997, Dave got fed up with the consolidation of the radio industry and ever changing formats at the last radio station he worked at. After a soul searching drive across the country he returned to New York and began to host 8 Minute Dating events as he formed his own singles activities company The New York Social Network With over 20,000 singles who have attended his events there is sure to be a story that everyone can relate to or enjoy listening to.
Dave Cervini was an air personality and promotion and marketing director at New York Radio Stations WKTU, Country 103.5, Big 105, Jammin 105, Power 105, The Buzz and WBAB since 1986. Dave has also appeared in several episodes of the "Whoopie" show starring Whoopie Goldberg as well as many TV commercials.
